Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) – 2 Year Diploma Course

It is expected that ANM graduates are capable of providing basic nursing care, maternal and child health services, and community healthcare in rural and urban settings. They play a vital role in preventive healthcare and health education.

Duration: 02 years full time
Board Recognition: Diploma awarded by Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai
Intake: 40
Medium of Instruction: English / Marathi

Eligibility:

Passed 12th (10+2) in Arts / Commerce / Science stream from Maharashtra State Board or any other equivalent recognized examination with minimum 40% marks (Relaxation as per Government norms).

Admission Criteria

Age Limit: Minimum 17 years
Admission Through: As per Government / Competent Authority guidelines

Fees:

As per Fees Regulatory Authority (FRA), Maharashtra State

Assessment:

As per norms prescribed by Indian Nursing Council and Maharashtra Nursing Council. Internal and Board examinations will be conducted. Standard of passing is 50% marks.

Practical Training & Affiliations

Practical Training: Students must complete clinical and community postings as prescribed with 100% attendance.
